David MacCubbin made his first guitar in 2002 using William Cumpiano’s and Jonathan Natelson's textbook "Guitarmaking, Tradition and Technology". He also studied with William Cumpiano in 2003 in Massachusetts learning some of the finer points of the craft. MacCubbin became a full time luthier in early 2007 and now makes around one acoustic guitar per month, as well as doing instrument repairs.
