Mako was a brand name of C Bruno & Son Inc (owned by Kaman Music Corp). There was a full range of Mako guitars, effects and amplifiers available in the 1980s. Mako guitars were made in Korea by Samick and the early models were essentially rebadged Hondo designs. Later ones were made by Cort.
