Information:

Mason Bernard guitars were superstrat electric guitars made from 1990 to 1992 by Bernie Rico of B.C. Rich. The name Mason Bernard was in honor of Bernie Rico Snr's father, "Bernardo Mason Rico".  Around 300 to 400 were made in total, and they were labelled "M Bernard" on the headstock. The range included 2 electric models and one acoustic model. The MB-1 was based on the BC Rich ST III body, with HSS pickups. The Standard model was based on the BC Rich Assassin template, and had a slanted humbucker pickup in the bridge position and a slanted single coil pickup in the neck.  The BE-140 acoustic had a piezo pickup in the bridge and a 21 fret cut-away body style.  Most have plain ebony finger boards, however there are some special player guitars that feature inlays. Many have custom graphics.
