Stuart Mewburn made his first guitar back in 1972. Since then his has made many classical and flamenco guitars based on the designs of Robert Bouchet, Santos Hernandez, Hernandes & Aguado, Ignacio Fleta. Since completing the Guildhall University’s fretted instrument course Mewburn has been experimenting with his designs and bracing patterns looking to develop guitars with power, bright trebles and balance. He lives and works in London and his work has been displayed  in “The art of the Luthier” exhibition at Linley’s in London.
