Rick Micheletti began repairing guitars for his friends in 1981. The next year he enrolled in the Vermont Instrument Workshop where he studied under George Morris. He made guitars in his spare time while working as an industrial designer and consultant before going full time as a guitar maker in 1994. He now has a workshop in Willits, California where he makes hand crafted acoustic and classical guitars.
