Leonardo Michelin-Salomon studied guitar making at the National School of Arts and Crafts in Uruguay, under the tuition of Juan Carlos Alves. He graduated in 1999 and moved to Norway in 2002. He opened his first workshop in Oslo in 2005 together with Simen Omang. After a brief return to Uruguay, Michelin-Salomon moved to Hamar in 2013 where he is currently based. Michelin-Salomon offers classical, electric and bass guitars as well as lutherie courses for beginners and advanced students.
