Milan Ciz graduated from the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in 1993 and then established his workshop in Slovakia. From 1993 to 1997 he built guitars under the CMS brand name (Ciz Milan Guitars) and from 1997 onwards he used the Milan Ciz Guitars brand. He builds around ten guitars per year as well as repairing around two hundred instruments.
