The Montano brand was founded in 1928 in Nagoya, Japan by Mr. Kitchitaro Kondo, as a domestic acoustic guitar brand. The brand was discontinued but later revived in 2010 by the Mizuno Musical Instrument Company as a custom acoustic and electric guitar brand name.
