Musicvox was established in 1997 as a maker of vintage style and otherwise flamboyant guitars and basses. Musicvox was the idea of Matt Eichen, an oral surgeon and avid vintage guitar collector who wanted to produce guitars and basses with vintage aesthetics but modern functionality.
