Northworthy Radbourne

I have a Northworthy Radbourne from 1990. I visited Alan Marshall (the luthier at Northworthy), a year or so back, and he told me that he only made four copies of this version, which has the shape and size of a Gibson J185. It is topped with red cedar with mahogany back and sides. I have several guitars but this is one of my favourites. It is old and battered now (not my doing) but it plays, and sounds, like a dream - one of my best buys.

Northworthy's are rare to pick up secondhand, as they are a small firm and do not produce huge quantities - but what they do make is superb. If I could afford it, I would buy a new one too. They are that good!
