Mike Shishkov worked for many years as a leading electric guitar builder at Hamer Guitars before launching his own company, Shishkov Guitars, in 2014. His guitars have premium figured tops, hand blended heels and use custom Josh Gravelin pickups. Mike also has a well known guitar-making brother, Yuriy Shishkov, who is one of the master builders at Fender's Custom Shop.
