Jim Lewis founded Strictly 7 Guitars (S7G) in 2007 using his background in woodworking, physical therapy, and heavy metal to design a more ergonomic electric guitar with extended scale length. S7G were initially a 7-string brand aimed at heavy metal musicians, but these days S7G also offer 6 strings and basses. S7G's custom shop instruments are hand-built by skilled luthiers in Medina, Ohio USA.
