Strumstick is a brand name of McNally Instruments LLC, who have been in business since the early 1970s. Bob McNally began developing the Strumstick in 1981, as a variation on his backpacker guitar design. The Strumstick is a three stringed backpacker style acoustic guitar but with diatonic frets like an Appalachian dulcimer - designed for ease of playing. Strumsticks are handmade in New Jersey, USA.
