Stuart Day's introduction to guitar making began at Bryan Galloup's School of Lutherie, where Day took a 6 month master course and then became an apprentice. After a year and a half with Galloup, Day was offered a job with archtop maker Tom Ribbecke, which lasted six years until Day decided to form his own company and in 2013 Stuart Day Guitars was established in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Stuart Day offers hand crafted archtop, acoustic and electric guitars.
