Brown Guitars is run by luthier Tad Brown who comes from a long line of American craftsmen. Tad began making guitars in 1996, and has worked for several well known southern California guitar shops including The Guitar Doctor, and the Laguna Beach Guitar Shoppe and with guitar builders, repairmen, and gurus, like Jim Long, Charles Fox, Doc Pittillo, and Kirk Sand. Brown guitars are  handmade, with great attention to quality, craftsmanship, acoustic tone, and playability. Tad Brown specialises in archtops
