Thomas Fredholm makes classical and acoustic guitars in Sweden. Initially he made Western style steel string guitars and some Irish bouzoukis and dulcimers. Over the years he has used scholarships and grants to spend time with luthiers such as Jonathan Hinves in Granada, Spain and master luthier Bernhard Kresse in Köln, Germany. He has also met luthiers in Asia, America and Europe, and visited numerous. During one of his many trips to the States he came across the making of fine classical guitars and became hooked by the sound and the challenge of building refined classical guitars.
