Information:

Vinetto guitars are made by Vince J. Cunetto in St Louis. Vince Cunetto was a pioneer of Fender's relic guitars. He started trading, buying and selling vintage guitars on the side around 1984 while living in Kansas City, Missouri, He wanted a vintage Telecaster, but  couldn’t afford any of the ones he was trading, so he started trying to artificially age new guitars himself. He had worked in autobody spraying in his youth had the skills to create convincing aged nitro-cellulose laquer finishes. He was introduced to JW Black of the Fender Custom Shop by a mutual friend and by the mid 1990s Cunetto was doing relicing work for the Fender Custom Shop. By April of 1995 Cunetto had set up a 2,000 square-foot factory in Springfield, Missouri with spray booths and the staff, tools and work stations to relic guitars shipped to him from Fender. In 1999, however, Fender brought its relicing operation back in-house and Cunetto phased out the Springfield factory. Since then he has built guitars under the Vinetto brand name.
