- acoustic guitars
Inventor of the Natural Stereo Guitar, Zeki Caglar Namli was born in Trabzon in 1981. His first instrument was the Baglama (a Traditional Turkish instrument with six strings in three courses), and he went on to study music at the state academy in 1998. In 2002 he invented the Double Boxed Baglama which produced a natural stereo effect. This instrument has a second sound chamber, at the headstock of the instrument (a bit like the secondary resonators you see on some sitars). He then applied this "natural stereo" invention to other instruments including the guitar, and was granted a patent for the concept.
