Z.S. Thomas Guitars were made by luthier Z. "Seth" Thomas in Southern Pines, NC. Seth developed a unique method for installing guitar electronics - called pot pods. The control cavities are routed in the front of the guitar, where they are concealed by the oversized knobs. So when you pick up a Z.S. you will notice the back of the instrument is clean and completely free of cavity covers.
