I've been playing semi-professionally in bands in the UK and lately in Cyprus for 50-odd years, and over that time have owned a fair number of guitars. The Charvel 625 is far and away the nicest acoustic I've ever owned. My Takamine spends most of its life in its gig bag, while the 625 lives in the house and gets played most days. Lovely action, spot-on intonation and a great full, warm tone. I bought it for a song in a local auction when my Epiphone was stolen -the best outcome I've ever had as the victim of a crime!

I bought my 625 about 5 years ago in a local auction after just a quick tryout on viewing day. It had been a bit neglected and had some cheap & nasty extra-light strings, but it seemed pretty sound and felt comfortable. With a good clean and some decent 12-53 strings it quickly became my favourite acoustic; I play it in preference to a Takamine and an Epiphone, and I reckon I got a bargain at around 100 euros. Lovely action, comfortable neck that suits my small hands and a full, clear and even tone.
