I do not see many reviews on this wonderful guitar. Mine is a 1985 model. It is without a doubt the cleanest sounding guitar I have ever owned! Only manufactured between 1985 and 1994. Per my research I believe that only 163 were manufactured. I own a lot of acoustic guitars, and a few Martins, and would not sell or trade this one for any other model. Solid Sitka spruce top and incredibly figured maple back and sides. Very loud, louder than my D 18. For the life of me I can't understand why the Martin faithful never appreciated Maple, Incredible sound!

I have one of these magnificent instruments. I played it during the Rod Stewart unplugged and seated tour 1993/4. It beats any other 12 st acoustic I have ever known and I've been playing for 60 years.
