I bought this Alvarez brand new for $180, which was half the list price of $360, according to the guitar store in Kalamazoo, because it had a small dent in the back. I think it was about 1995 when I bought it, along with a Woody sound hole pickup by Seymour Duncan from the same store, so I could play with a church band the next day. I'm still playing it often today in 2020.
