Schecter introduced the OMEN-6 model in 2001. The Omen-6 has two Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, tune-o-matic bridge. At some point Vintage White finish replaced Electric Blue as a color option. Also early models have dot fingerboard inlays - later ones have Semi-Goth inlays. The hardware color was changed from chrome to black at some point.

Omen 6

Early Omen 6 guitars had no binding and were made in Korea.

awesome guitar

I purchased a 2019 Ocean Blue Omega Extreme, I tried it out on a Fender blues tube amp, though it was nice. I got it home plugged it into my Dr. Z, removed the plastic from the pickups (didn't notice in the store) and was blown away by the sound. I originally, thought I would replace the pups with SD Black Winter pups. At this point, the only thing I will change is to add locking tuners. Other than that, its is an amazing guitar for the price.
