Samick Greg Bennet D 10CE Black

I picked up this single cut dreadnaught after i had recently moved and needed an acoustic to wail on.  I had never heard of Samick before and didn't really care if it lasted more than two years.  I've had it for over five years now and all i've had to do is change the strings.  I really like this thing.  Just wondering if anyone knows approximately how much it is worth for insurance pusposes?  Serial number is 02020005.  She is in in good to excellent condition.  Only one ball-point-pen-tip-sized ding on the face from the corner of my over-excited two-year-old daughter's alphabet block. :(

SAMICK D 10 CE

According to the 2006 blue book of guitars the Samick D 10 CE had a dreadnought single cutaway style body, solid spruce top, mahogany sides and back, 8-ply white binding, tortoise pickguard, 3-per-side Grover tuners, chrome hardware, Fishman Classic 4-Band EQ, available in Natural, Wine Red, or Black finishes. It was made 2000-2003.

When new it sold for around $455, but second-hand value is less. In 2006 the Blue Book suggested $200 to $250 for one in excellent condition.

Guitars and kids don't mix well. I caught my 3 year old dragging my Fender strat across the floor last week, at least he's showing an interest in guitars!
