The EA-250 had a double cutaway, select hardwood top, rims and back, three piece adjustable neck, cherry red finish, rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, multiple body bindings, adjustable precision bridge, two pickups, two each volume and tone controls, toggle switch, deluxe machine heads and chrome plated hardware.
The Epiphone EA-250 did not have the rosewood bridge base of the 5102T model, it also had different pickups with chrome pickup covers and an optional trapeze tailpiece

Hello! I have an EA-250 that I Purchased New in 1971. It has black plastic pic-up covers. I believe it was the first year that they were made in Japan by the "M" plant.

I have an ARIA g5102t made between 1970 and 1972,the pick-ups are different but the body is the same because ARIA were making the Epiphone EA250 that are identical to mine Vibrato included.

Same 3/4" center block as the 5102T?

The EA-250 has the same 3/4" center block as the 5102T? Does it sound closer to a full hollow like the Casino or closer to an ES-335 semi-hollow type?
Was the EA-250 neck also bolt on like the 5102T?
Did they ever make a 5102T with a set neck?
