The US made Strobel Rambler Custom was the first Rambler model, introduced in 2003. Being a custom instrument there are various options custom features including: Personalized neck shaping, Personalized inlay, choice of Ash or Mahogany body, choice of Maple or Mahogany neck and a choice of Ebony or Rosewood fretboard. Optional extras are: coil tap, piezo bridge, gold hardware, AAA quilted maple top and more.
The early Rambler models had 24 inch scale length and 20 frets and were simply known as "The Strobel Folding Guitar". From 2009 onwards the scale length was increased to 24.5 inches and an extra fret added.

I've had mine for months now. The strobel is the best travel guita out there (in my humble opinion).
