The EXB404 was made from the early 1990s until 1996. EXB basses were designed with the rock and metal player in mind and had lightweight American maple bodies, hard rock maple necks and rosewood fingerboard. The EXB404 had custom matched Powersound pickups.

Mine has a P on the serial # indicating peerless factory...look for this. I have had Fenders (5), but this is the best , very light,, stays in tune, P.AND j. TONES, The neck has a scarfe joint...no problem. Best 120 BUCKS I ever invested in a BASS!

I have an EXB404 that I bought in November 1994
