Introduced in 1996 the Cort A6 (NA6) was the 6-string version of the Cort Artisan A4 bass. The NA6 Bass featured a through neck maple wenge lamination, Bartolini MK1 pickups and Bartolini designed electronics. For tuning stability Cort designed the Fortress bass bridge and added a solid brass nut. The NA6 was available in natural, transparent red (1998 onwards), transparent blue (from 1996 to 1998). The body was laminated Figured Maple / Wenge and the neck laminated hard Maple / Wenge. The Bartolini MK1 pickups were controlled by 5 EQ knobs for Volume, Balance. Treble, Mid and Bass.
