The Cort G200 was introduced in 2001. It is a Stratocaster copy with three single coil Powersound pickups and a Full Action II tremolo. The specifications of the G200 have not changed since its introduction apart from a change of body wood from agathis to basswood in 2005, and the original fretboard position markers were offset dots but are now centrally placed white dots. The Cort G200 was the most affordable of the G-series models until the G100 was introduced. Also available in left handed configuration as the G200L. Finish options (circa 2015) are G200 BK - Black, G200 TB - Trans. Blue, G200 2T - 2 Tone Burst, G200 AW - Artic White (with a tortoiseshell pickguard) and G200 SRD - Scarlet Red.
