The Davoli Scarabeo is a rare Wandre designed electric guitar inspired (I think) by the scarab beetle. Dates from sometime in the 1960s. It has the Wandre/Davoli aluminium neck. Some examples have the Wandre "W" vibrato units. The Davoli-stamped pickups look like humbucker sized but are quite likely to be single coils. The bridge appears to have some sort of over the string mute device. The small screws all around the body suggest either a full body scratchplate or that the entire top of the body is held on with screws (perhaps hollow bodied underneath?)
