DOD FX Series

DOD introduced the FX-series in 1982 at a time when the market for effects pedals was becoming more competitive with offerings from the likes of Ibanez and Boss. The FX-series was a more affordable alternative to the DOD Performer series, and the DOD Digitech division dealt with high end twin pedals, multi-effects and rack mounted effects. The FX Series was originally dubbed "America's Pedal" but by 2000 all production had moved to China.

DOD FX 17 (Wah-Volume)

The DOD FX 17 was a Wah-Volume pedal. It could work as a wah, volume or voltage controller - depending on the side selector switch.

The DOD FX 40B replaced the FX 40 equalizer in 1987. It had 8 slider controls - each one for an octave frequency band covering the range 100Hz to 6.4KHz.

The DOD FX 57 Hard Rock Distortion combined distortion with a delay (7 to 40 milliseconds) to give more punch.

The DOD FX 75B was introduced in 1987, replacing the FX 75 Stereo Flanger pedal. It had a delay control which put it up against the Boss BF-2.
