Truetone

Truetone was a guitar brand of the Western Auto mail order company in the 1960s with instruments made by the big Chicago factories such as Kay. Circa 2021 Trutone is an effects brand founded by Bob Weil - initially as Visual Sound, in 1995. The brand was renamed Truetone in 2015.

Sublime

Sublime Guitars was founded in 2012 by Chi-Yuan Huang, Tommy Platt, David Quinones and others. Sublime uses guitar makers from Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and the US for different aspects of their guitar production. Their builders are often single person shops that specialize in a single area of production. Rather than having one large factory mass-produce an entire instrument, their guitar line sources each component based on quality and craftsmanship.

In 2014 used a successful Kickstarter campaign to help fund their first series of production pedals: Chunky Brogan Distortion, Mobin Overdrive, Pep-Pep Delay, and the Hippy Joel Overdrive

Stinger

Stinger was an electric guitar and bass brand launched by CF Martin in 1985. The Stinger instruments were made in Korea (by Samick?) for distribution in the USA. The brand lasted until the mid 1990s at least.

Sekova

Sekova was a brand name of U.S. Musical Merchandise Corp of New York who sold Sekova acoustic guitars. electric guitars, basses, folk instruments, amplifiers, effects and accessories in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Cornell

Denis Cornell founded Cornell Custom Amplification in 1991. Denis Cornell has built repaired, serviced and custom designed amplification systems for many years. (Sound City's groundbreaking MKIII / IV amp's were co-designed by by Denis along with Brian Hucker)  Over the years Denis has helped design amps for many of today's big brand amp manufacturers. As a freelance consultant Denis Cornell has sorted complex technical problems and helped Fender Europe with new designs. Denis has been called upon to help major companies grow and launch their products and had a key role in Arbiter Group's London facility in designing products for them.

Carella

Carella Guitars is run by Giuseppe (Beppe) Carella and Daniela Bruno in Umbria, near Orvieto, Italy. They hand-make electric guitars and basses as well as custom pickups and effects pedals for guitars, basses and keyboards. Beppe Carella is a master luthier, experienced in the production of electric guitars and basses and has had numerous collaborations with established Italian artists (Gatto Panceri, Toti Panzanelli, Valter Vincenti, etc ...).
