The Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass, introduced in 1999, has the Thunderbird’s unique reverse body design and distinctive headstock. This version does not have the neck-though-body desgin of the original Gibson Thunderbird bass - but the body appears to have mahogany wings with a different wood (alder?) core . Pickups are two Epiphone TB Plus humbuckers.
