The Epiphone Viola Bass (model EBV1) was introduced in 1995 as a copy of the famous Höfner 500/1 "Beatle bass" made famous by Paul McCartney. The Epiphone Viola Bass was initially made in Korea and then in China. Pickups are two Epiphone NYR and NYT mini humbuckers.
