Series name:

Dates of manufacture:

2006

In 2006, Fender reissued the Champion 600. It looks similar to the original Champion 600 model, but it has a modifed blackface Champ circuit (with the settings of the tone-stack being hard-wired rather than adjustable via Treble and Bass controls, and a couple of additional resistors reducing input-stage gain). It also has solid-state rectification instead of the original 5Y3 vacuum tube. The reissue model has the TV-front with two-tone tolex and speaker grille cloth of imitation suede.

The same electronics are available as the Gretsch G5222 amplifier, in a different cabinet - based on the look and feel of  "tweed" Fender amps.

Specifications are: 6" Combo, with internal 4 ohm speaker output jack, 5 Watts RMS, Volume Control, Power Switch, 2 Inputs (high, low), 1 Channel, 1x 12AX7 and a 6V6 vacuum tubes, Solid State Diode Rectified,  Class A - Single Ended circuit.
