I export an item that is 233 mm wide into stl, when I open it in blender or in slic3r it doesnt show up, I think it exports as too small, anyone know anything about this? Ive tried exporting in mm, meters, inches feet, all is the same. thanks in advance

Can you check your model units?
Go to Window -> Model Info then check what it says for Units.

it says format is decimal and units is mm.. when I measure the width of the model with the measuring tool it says 223 mm wide, when I export in stl, it produces a extremely tiny model that is too small to load in various 3d programs...

I got the same problem... and my computer don't recongnize it vs other .stl that I imported from web...
when I save it as .obj and open it in other program, the proportion is not the same,...
I would appreciate if someone can help me with that issue...
