Extremely light and slim, the Ibanez AX38 body is designed with a special contour to fit the player’s body. All Axstar models have a 22 fret flat radius rosewood fingerboard, Big frets and a black gloss finished neck with black plated parts. Axstars also have the Hard Rocker Pro locking tremolo.

The  Ibanez AX38 offers unique pickup-combination settings. The front and rear pickups can be controlled with the toggle switch and the center pickup can be controlled with the center pickup volume control.
