GIBSON made the J-200 Deluxe between 1994 and 1996. It had a spruce top and figured maple back, sides & neck with abalone binding. Rosewood back, sides & neck were an option for extra cost.The fingerboard was ebony with abalone crown position markers, the ebony moustache bridge also had abalone inlay as did the black-faced headstock. Tuners were gold Grover Imperials. Finish options were natural or vintage sunburst. The pickguard had an engraved floral design with abalone dots in the centres of the flowers.
