The Gibson Super 200 Custom, introduced in 2001 and made by the Gibson Custom Shop, has a SJ-200 body with a single Venetian cutaway. This model has Super 400 appointments including: mother-of-pearl Super 400 style inlay on the headstock, fingerboard, bridge, and pickguard. Tuners are Grover Imperials. The Gibson Super 200 Custom is typically made in limited numbers - the latest being a run of 30 instruments released in 2016 with a built-in L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup with a bridge plate mounted microphone and blendable under saddle piezo element.
