The Gibson ES-100 was made between 1938 and 1941, it was a small, basic, entry level hollow bodied electric archtop. The ES-100 intiially had a blade pickup, this was replaced by a pickup with adjustable pole pieces in 1940. This model was reintroduced in 1946 as the ES-125
