Gibson has reversed the famous flying V fins on this limited production model: it now flys in the opposite direction. The headstock has also been changed, it looks like an asymmetrical Dean headstock. Body and neck are mahogany. Fingerboard is rosewood, with 22 frets and dot inlays. Hardware is gold plated with Tune-O-Matic bridge and string though reversed V tailpiece.

The reverse V has two 1957 Classic humbuckers controlled by a volume and a 3 way toggle switch. The original production run was in 2006 with 400 instruments in transparent amber finish. Gibson announced another production run of 900 instruments in 2007, in natural, ebony or white finish.
