The Gretsch Brian Setzer Signature model G6120-SSL (Nashville) was introduced in 1994 and was built in Japan. The design was based on the guitars in his Brian's vintage Gretsch collection with trestle bracing matching that of Setzer's favorite '59. The pickups were originally Gretsch Filtertrons but in 2004 were changed to TV Jones Classic pickups. The G6120-SSL came with Dice controls, Sperzel locking tuners, pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge, nickel hardware and Bigsby B6CB vibrato tailpiece.
This model was similar to the standard Brian Setzer G6120-SSU model - but the SSL was finished in Nitrocellulose Lacquer.
