First produced around 1953 the Guild F-50R is similar to their F-50 model, except it has rosewood back and sides. From 1953 until around 1969 this was Brazillian rosewood. This model was discontinued in 1990 but reintroduced in 2003 following the Fender takeover of Guild.
The F-50R was available with Fishman Electronics in the past (model number 3802805), circa 2013 the D-TAR® Multi-Source™ Pickup System is an option. Also available left-handed.
