Guild introduced the X-550P model in 2004

The GUILD X150 SAVOY was a single cutaway archtop originally made between 1954 and 1965, but then reintroduced again in 1998 and made until around 2005.  The X150 body is laminated curly maple; the neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard and block inlays. The  Savoy had a single custom designed Guild chrome plated humbucking pickup (earlier 1950s and 1960s models had different pickups), with chrome Grover tuners and Guild harp tailpiece.

The GUILD X150D SAVOY was the two pickup version of the X150 single cutaway archtop. The X150D was introduced in 1998 and made until around 2003.  The X150D body is laminated curly maple; the neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard and block inlays. The Savoy had two custom designed Guild chrome plated humbucking pickup, with chrome Grover tuners and Guild harp tailpiece. Available in Blonde and Antique Sunburst, also in left handed configuration.

GUILD made the Rockabilly X160 between 1999 and 2003. The Guild X160 Rockabilly was an arch-top guitar with an all maple body. The X160 uses the same body and neck as the X150. Like the X150, the X160 had a classic style laminated maple body (16" wide x 3"deep), finished in high gloss polyurethane, and has a bound Mahogany neck with the Guild Chesterfield logo.

GUILD manufactured the X170 MANHATTAN between 1988 and 2002. The Guild X170 is a typical archtop jazz style single cutaway guitar. It has a multi-laminate maple body in medium-full size: 16 5/8" wide by 2 1/2" deep. Its slightly slimmer design makes the X170  more comfortable to hold and to play than a full depth jazz box. Guild pitched the X170 Manhattan model as a highly versatile guitar- with rich, professional tone quality and excellence of workmanship at a moderate price. Finish options were Tennessee Orange, Antique Burst or  Blonde

The GUILD X170B MANHATTAN archtop was identical to the X170 Manhattan but with the addition of a gold Bigsby vibrato tailpiece for extra twang (instead of a harp tailpiece) and an extra $100 in cost.

GUILD manufactured the X-175 MANHATTAN between 1954 and 1984. It was a single cutaway hollow bodied electric. From 1954-1962 the X-175 had two soap bar single coils, but these were replaced by two humbuckers from then on. Finish was sunburst or more rarely blonde (the X-175B model).

GUILD introduced the X50 archtop in 1952. The X50 was a deep bodied non-cutaway archtop the equivalent of a Gibson ES-125 or Epiphone Century. It was intially called the Granada-50, then in 1959 it was renamed the Granada X-50 . In 1960 this model became the Guild Cordoba X-50 The X-50 had a single Guild "Frequency Tested" single coil soapbar pickup. This model was also available as an acoustic guitar (A-50) or as a thinline archtop (the T-50 model).

GUILD made the X-500 between 1953 and 1995. It is a hollow bodied electric - similar in design to the Epiphone Zephyr Deluxe Regent. This popular laminated archtop was one of Guild’s Stuart series guitars but was replaced by the carved top X700 in 1993.  The X-550 was the blonde version of the X-500 and the X-550 designation was changed to X-500B around 1960.

Pickups were changed to DeArmonds in 1961 and to humbuckers in 1963. The X-500 first had individual Kluson tuners, then Kolb in 1957 and Grover Rotomatic tuners in 1965.

According to Guild, the Stuart X700 was the ultimate in electric jazz guitars, the pride of their sound engineers and wood craftsmen. Its distinctive fast-action neck was fashioned of 5-piece selected maple and mahogany. The choice ebony fretboard was elegantly inlaid with deluxe two-tone abalone and mother of pearl position markers. The Stuart's full "Venetian" cutaway body was 17 3/4" wide by 3 1/2" deep and boasted the same graduated carved solid spruce top as the Artist Award.

According to Guild, the Stuart X700 Benedetto Signature model (a redesign of the Guild X700 Stuart by Robert Benedetto) was the ultimate in electric jazz guitars, the pride of our sound engineers and wood craftsmen. Its distinctive fast action, 5-piece neck is fashioned of select flame Maple with an Ebony fretboard elegantly inlaid with deluxe two-tone Abalone and Mother-of-Pearl position markers. The Stuart’s full Venetian cutaway body is 17" wide by 3" deep and boasts the same graduated, carved solid Spruce top as the Artist Award.

The Guild X770 model was advertised in 1998 but did not make it into full production, though there may be some prototype X770s out there somewhere. It was like the X700 but with a longer 25.5" scale length and a single humbucking pickup - some similarities to the Benedetto X700 Stuart design.
