This Halifax branded electric guitar has a teardrop shaped hollow body, a bit like the Vox teardrop guitar shape. This guitar has 2 old-style f holes making it look a bit like a mandolin.

The neck has what looks like a rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets plus a zero fret. Controls appear to be one volume, one control and a pickup selector. There are two pickups, which look like humbuckers. The body is finished in sunburst with white binding. The 6-a-side headstock is finished in black, also with white binding and a while HALIFAX logo. The hardware is chrome finished, including the pickup covers.

I am almost certain (judging by the overall shape of the guitar and headstock and the hardware) that this is a rare 1960s Crucianelli Elite Teardrop semi acoustic. Crucianelli produced guitars that were distributed in the USA under lots of different brand names applied by different distributers (like Ardsley etc.). Crucianelli also cooperated with Eko in the 1960s manufacture of Vox guitars.
