Solid woods on this legendary Harmony Sovereign of Chicago built H1203 Western Special ...solid mahogany back and sides; solid mahogany, straight neck with working trussrod, solid spruce top, and Brazilian rosewood pinless bridge and radiused fretboard.  The guitar has its original celluloid nitrate tortoise pickguard, and its iconic original open tuners, which are very smooth and hold tune well.  This is one of Harmony's most sought-after American-made choice wood models, and this one has a vibe and tone that upholds the reputation.

Playing it is a real toneful experience, with rich, vintage clarity and bass for its grand concert size.  String height is very low at the common chord area, and measured string height dimensions at the 12th fret are 1/8" at the low E, and 7/64" at the high E.  Not much room to shave the saddle.

Dimensions: 40.5" long; 15.25" wide at lower bout; and just under 4" deep body.  Scale length is 25.5" M/L.
