Harmony H75

I have one of these with the original pickups. Main pt of interest is the lovely pale peachtoned burst finish.

H75

i wont say 'how to ruin a classic guitar in one misguided project', because there are a couple of modifications i like.......the bridge and the tailpiece......but the pickups change the whole sound of the instrument. The originals were wonderful and you could play anything on them , cant see you can do that anymore! Bit of a Ted Nugent monster now!!

My H75

You have imperfect information.  When I bought this H75 it was a body with three paf p/u holes chopped in the top and a neck with some crappy tuners.  It was a piece of crap beaten to death shell...This wasn't an investment grade guitar.  What I did was rescue it from a fireplace and outfit it with top of the line everything, and more importantly actually fit the guitar, that's why there's a space roller bridge, the H75's neck is about 1/6th smaller in width than a standard Gibson neck.  Additionally these Duncan PAF's are so much better than the best Harmony foil p/u it's not even funny.  Best wishes...
