2014 | £0 | good | JC | I actually pick the guitar up for nothing at the refuse tip. I had to give it little, and I mean little, bit of a clean and will be fitting a new saddle (£1.80) as the old one is badly chipped. For what it is it's a pleasant sounding guitar. Once I've replaced the saddle and strings, if new strings are needed (£1.99), I will probably try to find a beginner who could put to good use. All in all not a bad little find. |

For the money it's a great guitar for learners like me. I have had it since I was like 5-7 and now I am 14. So it's been a great learner guitar and for the money it's great. You're not going to expect for £20 like a really good guitar that's worth £500 but it's great.

Bloody mental guitar, got it when I was 6 and am now 17, dropped it several times, still going strong, don't get me wrong, sound-wise, it's a bit crap but for £20, solid buy. Well, that's all, for more quality content, check out on Instagram @jsepii, cheers xx ;)

Just bought my pink Herald HL34 for £3 at a church funds auction. Tuned it in the car park, played it in the car as my husband drove us home. A very nice learner and beyond guitar, very happy with the sound which is of a more expensive model.

Bought this as my first guitar from argos for about 20 quid. 7 years later and I'm still playing it. It's a cracking little guitar, plays fine, holds its tune, etc etc. After 7 years I still play it daily and it's never once had any issues. Sometimes I pick it up instead of the Gibson I own. It's not anything to gig with obviously, but for the price it's an incredible deal

I bought a cheap second hand acoustic and was given this for free. The intention was to use the cheapo for impromptu practising. For a start this guitar probably retails for £20, so don't be expecting a stage guitar. But for that £20 you get a guitar that plays and sounds good. I have no idea what brand the strings are, but it seems to stay in tune OK. I'm not gonna get into the fit and finish, or anything else. If you're looking for something to carry around for practising or learning on the spot, then this is ideal. Simply dismissing the guitar as trash is missing the point. Let's not forget that this is a step up from a toy guitar.
Each time I pick it up i'm pleasantly surprised. So I'll give it a five..

Possibly the worst guitar I've ever played, cheap sounding, made of cheap materials, everything about the guitar stinks, the only place it deserves to be is in the bin
