I own two, one made in 1994 just like the one above, and a 1996 made with entirely different woods, gold instead of silver metal, and absolutely beautiful. As thin as they are (not that thin), they have good bass. I would buy a third as soon as offered. They have a magical sound that must be heard to understand how well-built these were by the Korean craftsmen (better than Japanese).

The AE20n was first produced in 1994 (I have a brand new one that was never played until I bought it on Ebay $325 (w/shipping). I have another one made in 1996 that looks totally different than the '94 model (I would have to say the '96 is way better, wood quality, thinner neck. (The '94 has silver metal, the '96 gold). The '94 has ONLY one mark on entire fretboard, on the side of the seventh half-step. These guitars ARE magical, and I would gladly pay $500 for either. The sound is much smoother and easier on your ear than steel string guitars. You can tell by the s.n. its manufacture date, year-month-and # produced THAT month.

The best nylon-electric you will ever find (and can afford). I have one made in 1994, and an almost totally different one from 1996. Fantastic Korean worksmanship. Incredible playing action and sound quality.
