The FGM100 was made between 1991 and 1994

Ibanez made the FGM200 model from 1994 until 1996, as part of the Frank Gambale Model signature series of FGM guitars. The FGM200 was the only hard-tail model in the series and featured a strings though Gotoh fixed bridge. The FGM200's design was based on the Ibanez S series and it had the S Series rear mounted pickup system. This means that the FGM200's  DiMarzio humbucking pickups can sit almost flush to the body. This leaves the picking area clean and unobstructed which allows the strings to lay very close to the body top.

IBANEZ produced the FGM300 between 1994 and 1996, as part of the Frank Gambale FGM signature series. It replaced the FGM100 model in 1994 and was similar in style to that model except the FGM300 had pearl sharktooth inlays (the sharktooth inlays on the FGM100 were color matched to the body finish), a metallic green finish option and different DiMarzio pickups. Like the other FGM series models, the FGM300 design was based on the Ibanez S and had rear-mounted flush pickups and a deep-set neck and tremolo allowing the strings very close to the body.
